Editing is a necessity--no book should leave home without it!

editors need an editor--when you've read your work over, and over ...
and over again ... those wonderful word-scanners--your eyes--go on
auto-pilot and read what should be on the page, not what IS there.
Every author needs a "final editor"--after you've had a developmental editor work with you, after your
historical novel has been edited by a historian, and after you've asked
your English teacher to read it--you still need an editor for the final
polish.
At the very least, an editor should see your book one last time before it goes to print or digital conversion. Quote--free sample edits.
